Gardonville Achievement Scholarship

Gardonville Coop Telephone offers a total of three non-renewable $500.00 Achievement Scholarship Awards. Two $500.00 Achievement Scholarship Awards per year are awarded to two high school seniors attending Brandon High School and one $500.00 Achievement Scholarship Award per year is awarded to one high school senior attending Evansville High School. This award is unique in the fact the student does not apply for the scholarship award and is not aware that he or she is being considered. A committee of his or her mentors select the student. The award will be used to help further their education.

The Achievement Scholarship Awards shall be determined, awarded, and administered as follows:

  1. Amount: Each scholarship awarded shall be a one-time scholarship in the amount of $500.00.
  2. Committee: A committee from the Brandon High School and a committee from the Evansville High School will determine the winner of the scholarship for its school to a qualified candidate of its choice. The student selected by the committee is based on a number of criteria, but hard work and desire to succeed are prominent factors in being chosen. The student grade point average is not an issue.
  3. Qualifications of Candidates: Must be a graduating high school senior from Brandon High School or Evansville High School for the current year.
  4. Payment of Scholarship: The scholarship shall be payable after the completion of the first semester of the first year. The scholarship winner must submit a copy of his/her official college transcript. The scholarship proceeds shall be payable to the student who is awarded the scholarship along with the name of the college or university which the student is attending.
