WatchTVEverywhere Frequently Asked Questions

What's WatchTVEVerywhere? Check out the list of frequently asked questions below to learn all about it!

What is WatchTVEverywhere?

WatchTVEverywhere (WTVE) has a lot of different definitions. For us, WTVE is TV available for viewing on something other than a TV set (like a PC, laptop, iPad, iPhone or Android device).

How is WTVE different from Hulu or Netflix?

There are several differences. WTVE... FREE. There is no extra charge to use it. You only need to subscribe to the package the channels fall under. For example. if you want to watch A&E on WTVE, you'd need to subscribe to Gardonville's Expanded Choice package.

...includes live TV. For example, WTVE included more than 2,000 hours of live 2012 Olympic coverage. Hulu and Netflix only provide previously recorded shows.

...has full episodes of current TV shows. For example, the episodes of The Closer or Leverage on TNT are available within days of their premiere on TNT.

How much does it cost?

Nothing. At this time, WTVE is FREE so explore away! There is nothing available at this site that will result in an extra cost to you (except, perhaps, overage charges from your cellular carrier). You only need to subscribe to the package the channels fall under. For example. if you want to watch A&E on WTVE, you'd need to subscribe to Gardonville's Expanded Choice package.

Where can I watch WTVE?

Just about everywhere! WTVE works anywhere you can access the Internet. Wired connections and in-home WiFi will provide the best quality. The quality of WTVE signals while roaming (in airports, public places, etc.) will vary depending on the strength of the signal. Be extra careful when you travel, especially outside the U.S. Data roaming charges may apply and they can be very expensive.

What programs are available?

Each TV network makes their own decision about what programs to make available and when on WTVE. For example, the live feed of CNN is available. However, the live feed of TBS is not. Instead, TBS offers full episodes of their most popular programs.

Why aren't all programs available?

A TV network doesn't necessarily own all the rights to the programs they transmit. A TV network may have the right to transmit a movie, but only to TV sets, not on WTVE. So, once again, it depends on the TV network.

Will other networks become available?

Yes. We're working with many different networks to expand the number of programs available on WTVE. When logging in, users are presented with a complete list of networks currently available to them. Networks will automatically appear as they become available.

How do I use WTVE?

It's easy to start using WTVE. The first step is registration.

Go to

Click on "Register". You'll need to have your Gardonville statement handy since you'll be required to enter information from it.

Enter your account number, including the dash.

Enter the last name as it appears on your statement.

Type in the verification code supplied onscreen.

Fill in the rest of the New User Information.

Click on Register.

Check the email address you provided on the registration page. You'll find an email with your WTVE activation link. Click on the link in the email to complete the registration process and you're done!

From that point forward, you'll just need to "log in" using the username and password you created during the registration process.

Which WTVE programs can I watch?

Once you are registered, you can watch any WTVE program as long as you are a subscriber to that network. For example, if you want to watch A&E on WTVE, you'd need to subscribe to Gardonville's Expanded Choice package.

Which devices can I use?

Almost all WTVE programs are available on all devices (PC, laptop, iPad, iPhone and Android). Some TV networks haven't made their programs available on all devices. Visit your app store and search by the network name for available applications.

How many different devices can I use?

Some TV networks may limit the number of devices you can use at the same time but, typically, there is no limit.

Does watching WTVE count against my mobile data plan?

It might. Check your data plan before you start watching WTVE on your cellular carrier devices. WTVE programs transmit a lot of data which can become very expensive if you have a limited data plan. Since Gardonville has no way of knowing when you have exceeded your data plan, you will be responsible for all the charges billed to you by your cellular carrier.
